Bayou Bob is a handsome Chesapeake Bay Retriever and Pointer mix just waiting to give you affection!  He loves people...quite the social butterfly...and plays well with other dogs.  Bob is about 4 years old  and responds well to commands such as "sit".  He will make a fun loving family pet as well as a great outdoor adventure companion. 


 We have noticed he gets anxious when it storms and sometimes he gets so nervous he will have an accient.  He does pretty good as far as potty training with only an accident once in a while. He is friendly towards other dogs - he gets excited at first but then eases in with doing the playful pose.  Hee does bark but will stop once you call his name and tell him “stop”. He sits on command like a champ. And overall he just wants to be loved!  He will do anything to get your attention for you to keep petting him and will lay down next to you until you move. Bob loves to play but afterwards, he’s ready to snuggle down and rest up for another round.

ADOPTION FEES:    




Dogs:  Males - $100 and Females - $125.  This fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, including rabies shot, fecal, and heartworm test.  If dog has not received these services, you will be responsible for taking the dog within 30 days to Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  




Puppies in FOSTER CARE ONLY under 4 months old:  Males - $125 and Females - $150.  This includes 4 sets of vaccinations, deworming and spay/neuter/rabies shot thru Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  If puppy is too young to be altered within 30 days, approximate time for spay/neuter will be set based on age.




 Cats:  Males - $75 and Females - $100 – This fee includes spay/neuter, fecal and vaccinations (FVRCP-FELK and Rabies) thru Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  If cat is not altered, spay/neuter appointment must be set within 30 days of adoption or based on kittens’ age.  GAP does not test for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).




 Kittens in FOSTER CARE ONLY under 4 months old:  Males - $100 and Females - $125.  This fee includes two sets of vaccinations (8-10 wks & 12 weeks + rabies shot), deworming, and spay/neuter when old enough thru Animal Hospital & Clinic of Arlington.  GAP does not test for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).




If a pet has a special adoption fee, it will be listed in their individual posting!!
